To Obtain a Higher Speed Picture than Cue, Review (Jet Search) Press [FF] or [REW] twice to search forward or backward during playback. - Select search speed to view the picture recorded. (See page 20.) - The picture that appears in the EP mode at approx. 35 times speed may be disturbed. A vertical scroll may happen due to combination with the TV monitor. It is not a malfunction but if it happens, change to approx. 27 times speed. - Jet Search function also works during fast forward or rewind. - The picture may not be in color or be distorted depending on TV. - Press [PLAY] to cancel the Jet Search. The duration indicated on the VCR display changes by pressing [PLAY] as follows. Counter display (normal playback mode) >30 (min.)>60 (min.)>120 (min.)> 180 (min.)>240 (min.)> Counter display (normal playback mode) Press [PLAY] on the VCR for 2 seconds or more during playback. - The VCR will automatically switch off when Playback Off Timer is completed. To turn the VCR on again, press [POWER Í/I (VCR Í)]. Notes: - The Playback Off Timer function works during normal playback. - When the tape reaches its end during Playback Off Timer, the tape will be rewound to the start and the VCR will turn itself off. - Repeat Playback function does not work during Playback Off Timer. - Press [STOP] to stop midway. 22
