Advanced Taking Pictures with Manual Focus Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate auto focus. 1 Slide the focus switch to [MF]. AF AF MACRO MF FOCUS 2 Rotate the focus ring to focus on the subject. w MF ASSIST When you rotate the focus ring while setting [MF ASSIST] to [MF1] or [MF2], the MF assistance is activated and the screen is enlarged.
