How to Charge 1. Insert the charging plug into the charging jack of the main body completely. 2. Insert the charging adaptor into an AC outlet. 3. Keep the switch in the OFF position while charging. 4. During charging, charging indicator will light up. Standard charging time is 5 hours. 5. After charging, remove the charging adaptor from AC outlet. NOTE: Use only with ADAPTOR Model AD 294 for charging . How to remove the built-in rechargeable battery before disposal of massager. The battery in this massager is not intended to be replaced. The procedure described below is intended only for removal of the battery for the purpose of proper disposal. Discard massager after the battery has been removed. 1. Separate housing by removing eight screws. (See Fig 1) ATTENTION: The product you have purchased is powered by a nickel cadmium battery which is recyclable. At the end of it's useful life, under various state and local laws, it is illegal to dispose of this battery into your municipal waste stream. Please calll-800-8-BATTERY for information on how to recycle this battery. 2. Take out the battery by: Inserting screwdriver into hole of metal fitting and pull it away form battery. (See Fig 2) WARNING:Do not attempt to replace the battery for the purpose of reusing the massager. This could result in the risk of fire or electric shock.
