Problem VIERA Link does not work. The power of the DVD burner cannot be turned on. Cannot copy scenes on the SD card by connecting to other equipment with the USB cable. With other products Check points (Setting on this unit) ≥ Connect with a HDMI mini cable (optional). (l 107) ≥ Touch [MENU], then touch [SETUP] # [VIERA Link] # [ON]. (l 107) ≥ Turn the unit off and then back on again. (Setting on other devices) ≥ If the TV input does not switch automatically, switch the input using the TV remote control. ≥ Check the VIERA Link setting on the connected device. ≥ Please refer to the operating instructions of the connected device. ≥ When the unit is connected to the DVD burner, use the respective AC adaptors for both this unit and the DVD burner. ≥ Other equipment might have not recognized the SD card. Unplug the USB cable once, and reconnect it. Problem When connected by the USB cable, this unit is not detected by the PC. When the USB cable is disconnected, an error message will appear on the PC. Cannot see the PDF operating instructions for HD Writer AE 3.0. Cannot import AVCHD scenes with iMovie'11. (l 128,137) ≥ Connect the supplied USB cable again after restarting the PC and turning on this unit again. ≥ To disconnect the USB cable safely, double-click the icon in the task tray and follow the instructions on the screen. ≥ You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later or Adobe Reader 7.0 or later to read the PDF operating instructions for HD Writer AE 3.0. ≥ You may not be able to import AVCHD scenes with iMovie'11 when both AVCHD scenes and iFrame scenes are recorded on a media (an SD card, built-in memory or HDD). In such a case, first copy all the iFrame scenes data to iMovie'11, delete all the iFrame scenes data on the media, and then import the AVCHD scenes with iMovie'11. 146 VQT3K69
