KV-S2025C Series / KV-SU225C Series / KV-S2045C Series / KV-SU245C Series 9.4. Scanner Self-test Without connecting scanner to PC, the following contents can be done as the scanner self-test. The following test is mainly available for mechanical test after replacing or reassembling rollers (Drive roller, Sensor roller) and other mechanical parts related to feed documents. Test Item Paper Feed Motor's rotating Conveyor Motor's rotating Feed Shading Operation LED status Remarks 1 While pushing "STOP/START Button" on the front panel, turn on the scanner. 2 Release the button at the timing when the LED color is orange. Changing periodically. (Orange Red Green OFF Orange Red ..........) 3 Confirm the LED on the front panel is orange. (This status means entering into the paper feed motor's rotating test menu.) ON (Color: Orange) 4 Push the "STOP/START Button" to start rotating the Paper ON (Color: Orange) Feed Motor. 5 Push the "STOP/START Button" to stop rotating. ON (Color: Orange) 6 Turn off the scanner to finish this test. OFF 1 While pushing "STOP/START Button" on the front panel, turn on the scanner. 2 Release the button at the timing when the LED color is red. Changing periodically. (Orange Red Green OFF Orange Red ..........) 3 Confirm the LED on the front panel is red. (This status means ON (Color: Red) entering into the conveyor motor's rotating test menu.) 4 Push the "STOP/START Button" to start rotating the Conveyor Motor. ON (Color: Red) 5 Push the "STOP/START Button" to stop rotating it. ON (Color: Red) 6 Turn off the scanner to finish this test. OFF 1 While pushing "STOP/START Button" on the front panel, turn on the scanner. 2 Release the button at the timing when the LED color is green. Changing periodically.
