Dialing Mode Preparation If you have touch tone service, set to "Tone". If rotary or pulse service is used, set to "Pulse" using either the base unit or handset. Your phone comes from the factory set to "Tone". With the base unit Make sure the base unit is not being used. 1 Press (FUNCTION). 2 Scroll to "Initial setting" by pressing Ö or Ñ, and press á. 3 Scroll to "Set tel line" by pressing Ö or Ñ, and press á. 4 Scroll to "Set dial mode" by pressing Ö or Ñ. 5 Press á. •The current setting is displayed. 6 Select "Pulse" or "Tone" by pressing Ö or Ñ. 7 Press á (Save). •A beep sounds. •To exit the programming mode, press (STOP/EXIT).
