Answering System Using a pre-recorded greeting message If you erase or do not record your own greeting message, the unit plays a pre-recorded greeting asking callers to leave a message. Resetting to a pre-recorded greeting message If you want to use a pre-recorded greeting message once you record your own greeting message, you need to erase your own greeting message. 1 MMENUN 2 MbN: "Answering device" a MOKN 3 MbN: "Greeting" a MOKN 4 MbN: "Pre-recorded" a MOKN 5 MOKN a MOFFN Operating the answering system during playback Key MjN or MkN MN MN MnN (STOP) MERASEN Operation Adjust the speaker volume Repeat message*1 Skip message Stop playback Erase currently playing message *1 If pressed within the first 5 seconds of a message, the previous message is played. Erasing all messages Press MERASEN 2 times while the unit is not in use. Playing back the greeting message 1 MMENUN 2 MbN: "Answering device" a MOKN 3 MbN: "Greeting" a MOKN 4 MbN: "Check greeting" a MOKN 5 To exit, press MOFFN. Listening to messages using the base unit When new messages have been recorded, M N on the base unit flashes. Press M N (PLAY). R If new messages have been recorded, the base unit plays back new messages. R If there are no new messages, the base unit plays back all messages. Listening to messages using the handset When new messages have been recorded, "New message" is displayed. 1 MMENUN 2 MbN: "Answering device" a MOKN 3 MbN: "Play new msg." or "Play all msg." a MOKN 4 When finished, press MOFFN. Note: R To switch to the receiver, press M N.
