Switching the projector on/off Switching off the projector J By control panel operation Make sure the CONTROL PANEL setting in OPTION menu is set to VALID. 1. Press the POWER button. The confirmation screen will be displayed. Without any operation for 10 seconds or press any button other than the POWER button, the confirmation screen will go off and return to the projection. 2. Press the POWER button again in 10 seconds. 3. The POWER indicator will flash in orange. The projector is cooling the lamp. 4. The POWER and POWER LOCK indicator switch to red. J By remote control operation 1. Press the POWER button. The confirmation screen will be displayed. Without any operation for 10 seconds or press any button other than the POWER button, the confirmation screen will go off and return to the projection. 2. Press the POWER button again in 10 seconds. 3. The POWER indicator will flash in orange. The projector is cooling the lamp. 4. The POWER and POWER LOCK indicator light red. See "Direct power off function" on page 18. NOTE: • You can switch off the power without displaying the confirmation screen by pressing the POWER button for longer than 0.5 second. • When the internal cooling fan is operating, some, operational sound may be heard. The loudness of the operational sound depends on the external temperature. • If the projector is switched on again while the internal cooling fan is still operating by the internal power supply, it may take a while to start the projection. • Operating the control panel buttons with covered hand, such as plastered or gloved hand, may result in fail. NOTE:
You can switch off the power without displaying the confirmation screen by pressing the
POWER
button for longer than
0.5 second.
When the internal cooling fan is operating, some, operational sound may be heard. The loudness of the operational sound
depends on the external temperature.
If the projector is switched on again while the internal cooling fan is still operating by the internal power supply, it may take
a while to start the projection.
Operating the control panel buttons with covered hand, such as plastered or gloved hand, may result in fail.
