Warning Indicators This unit has indicators (lights on the front) to let you know the unit's internal condition. (P. 10.) Depending on the condition, the Lamp, Power, or Temp indicator will flash to alert you. In this case, turn unit off and follow the measures below. TEMP Indicator Indicator Symptom Flashes red 1 or 3 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Flashes red 2 or 4 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Flashes red 5 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Problem Malfunction Internal overheat error. Malfunction Lights solid red. OSD appears every time power is turned on. Maximum Lamp life hours exceeded. Possible Solution Contact a service center. Wait a while, then turn unit back on. Contact a service center. Replace Lamp LAMP Indicator Flashes red 1 time ever 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Lamp will not light or light is abnormal. Try turning Power On several times. If error persists, contact a service center. Flashes red 2 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Flashes red 3 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Flashes red 4 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Flashes orange 1 time every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. Lamp voltage is abnormal. Contact a service center. Lamp temperature is too high. Contact a service center. Other error. Contact a service center. The internal cooling fan is not working. Contact a service center. Flashes orange 2 times every 5 seconds. Power shuts off. The Lamp Cover is unsecured. Securely attach Lamp Cover. POWER Indicator Note: • If unit power is turned back on after performing the appropriate measures, make sure the unit has sufficiently cooled down. If the unit was used for a long period such that the lamp needs enough time to cool down, this may take a while. Information 65
