Initial Setup SURROUND *Important: If a remote control button does not work when pressed, press the FM/TV the remote and try the button again. button on POWER OPEN/CLOSE LIGHT FM/TV MUTE D V D 10 CH DSS CABLE TIMER VOL VOL + CH R-TUNE SELECT SET ACTION STOP ENTER CLEAR ADD/DLT AUDIO ANGLE SUB TITLE DISPLAY TITLE MENU S E T ACTION RETURN SKIP PLAY SKIP+ PAUSE STOP ZOOM SLOW/SEARCH Manual Clock Set If AUTO CLOCK SET was incomplete, manually set the clock as follows. 1 SET CLOCK SELE CT MONTH DST : ON SELECT : SET : SET END : ACT I ON Press ACTION on the remote to display SET CLOCK Menu screen. 2 Press to THU select the month and press SET to set. In the same manner, select and set the date, year, time, and DST (Daylight Saving Time). 3 Press ACTION twice to start CLOCK and exit. POWER STOP DST (Daylight Saving Time) Unit auto adjusts clock for DST (Daylight Saving Time.) ■ Spring (First Sunday in April) DST: ON ➞ Sets clock ahead one hour. ■ Autumn (Last Sunday in October) DST: OFF ➞ Turns clock back one hour. • If your area does not observe Daylight Saving Time, select DST : OFF (see "Clock" on pages 12 and 13). Note to CABLE system installer: This reminder is provided to call the CABLE (Cable TV) System Installers attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
