Initial Setup (Ready to Play) Please make all cable or antenna connections before powering on. Initial Setup (Ready to Play) Press on the remote for TV-VCR mode. 1 Plug the unit power cord into an AC wall outlet. 2 Press Power* on the remote or unit. The unit comes on and auto channel and clock set starts. CH AUTO SET PROCEEDING POWER TV-VCR • If you use a cable box, turn it on and set it to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) channel in your time zone. If you use a DSS receiver, it must be turned off. AUTO CLOCK SET PROCEEDING CANCEL : PRESS STOP KEY 3 Settings are made automatically. When setup is done, this screen appears. SELECT SET ACTION 2/ 6/2002 WED 12:00PM DST : ON SETT ING : CH 10 AUTO CLOCK SET COMPLETED If AUTO CLOCK SET IS INCOMPLETE screen appears, set the clock using MANUAL CLOCK SET procedure on next page.
