This unit is not restorable once disassembled. When disposing of this unit, take out the battery installed in this unit and recycle it. • Disassemble after the battery runs out. • Keep disassembled parts out of reach of children. 1 Turn the earpads A upward, and place the unit on a flat surface 2 Hold the bottom of the right speaker (R), and put a cross-slot screwdriver (commercially available) under the upper cover B • Make sure to keep fingers away from the tip of the screwdriver. • Select a screwdriver to be large enough for a space under the upper cover. 3 Use the screwdriver for leverage, and push the upper cover B upward 4 Remove the upper cover B 5 Remove the 4 screws, and remove the lower cover C 6 Hold the battery D , and remove it Regarding the handling of used batteries • Insulate the terminals with adhesive tape or similar. • Do not disassemble. ■ Batteries • Do not heat or expose to flame. • Do not leave the battery(ies) in a car exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed. • Battery mishandling can cause electrolyte leakage which can damage items the leaked fluid comes into contact with. If electrolyte leaks from the battery, consult your dealer. Wash thoroughly with water if electrolyte comes in contact with any part of your body. • When disposing of the battery, please contact your local authorities or dealer and ask for the correct method of disposal.
