I button Common Operations Setting the Face Recognition function 3 With the Optio V20, the Face Recognition function is available with all shooting modes except O mode. In the Face Recognition function, you can choose the Face Priority function that recognizes the subject's face, focuses (Face Recognition AF) and performs exposure compensation (Face Recognition AE), and the Smile Capture function* that recognizes the subject's face, focuses (Face Recognition AF), performs exposure compensation (Face Recognition AE) and captures an image automatically. * Depending on the condition of the recognized faces, an image may not be captured automatically because the Smile Capture function will not work. If this happens, press the shutter release button to capture an image. Switching the Face Recognition Function By default, the Face Recognition function is set to Face Priority On. Common Operations
