How to display the [u Setting] menu MENU Four-way controller 4 button 3 button Setting Format Sound Date Adjust World Time Language/ 1/3 08/01/2007 English MENU Exit Setting the World Time The date and time selected in "Setting the Date and Time" (p.37) and "Changing the Date and Time" (p.151) serve as the W (Hometown) date and time. By using the world time function, you can display the time in a city other than the Hometown (XDestination). This is useful when taking pictures in a different time zone. Setting the Destination 1 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [World Time] on the [u Setting] menu. 2 Press the four-way controller (5). World Time The World Time screen appears (the default Select time setting is W (Hometown)). 3 Use the four-way controller (23) Destination NewYork DOSFTF 14:25 to select X (Destination). Hometown NewYork DOSFTF 14:25 MENU 8 4 Press the four-way controller (5). The Destination screen appears. The city that Destination 14:25 is currently selected blinks on the map. 5 Use the four-way controller (45) to change the Destination city. City New York The current time, location and time DST TimeDif. +0:00 MENU Cancel OK OK difference of the selected city appear. 6 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [DST] (Daylight Saving Time). 7 Use the four-way controller (45) to select O (On) or P (Off).
