Initial Settings Set the language, time, and date after purchasing the camera before you 1 start taking pictures. Power switch Getting Started Four-way controller 4 button 3 button In this manual, the arrow keys to be pressed are expressed as indicated on the right. The Language/ screen appears when the camera is turned on for the first time. Perform the operations in "Setting the Display Language" below to set the language, and in "Setting the Date and Time" (p.37) to set the current date and time. Go to "Setting the Date and Time" (p.37) when the Date Adjust screen appears. Language, Date, and Time can be changed. Refer to the pages below for instructions. • To change the language, follow the steps in "Changing the Display Language" (p.155). • To change the date and time, follow the steps in "Changing the Date and Time" (p.151).
