Before contacting a Pentax service center, check the following items. Symptoms The shutter does not release. Causes The main switch is set to [ OFF ]. The low battery warning [ Q ] appears. The battery is improperly installed. Remedies Set the main switch to [ ON ]. Replace the battery. Install the battery properly.
