Practice holding and operating the camera before inserting your first film cartridge. The photos (see p. 22) show the basic holding positions. No matter which position you use, be sure to grip the camera steadily with both hands, hold the camera gently against the face in a fixed position, and relax the rest of your body in a secure posture. Brace the elblow of the arm supporting the camera against your body. You may also use a tree or building, etc. as support. Always push the shutter release button gently.
