OPERATING 38-145mm ZOOM LENS 4. 4. • ie• lei IFflfs 0 O Pushing the zoom buttom on the right (s.) moves the lens towards the 145mm telephoto setting. Pushing the zoom buttom on the left (es+) moves the lens moves towards the wide-angle 38mm setting. When the lens zooms to the desired setting, release the zoom bottom and depress the shutter release button fully to take pictures. • When you move the zoom lever or the shutter release button is depressed halfway down, the lens focal length is displayed on the LCD panel. • Do not apply force to the zoom lens as doing so causes damage to the camera. • The shutter cannot be released while the lens is zooming. 17
