LAMP INDICATIONS ILY (P, EL'TI ON/ OF F When you depress the shutter release button half- way down. the lamps 0 and or 0 light up or blink. • Green lamp When the subject is in focus, it will light up to indicate that you can lake the picture; when the subject is out of focus, it will blink. indicating that you cannot lake the picture. O Red lamp : When the flash is ready to discharge. it will light up. When the flash is being charged, it will blink. Note: • If the subject is too close or is a hard-to- ant ofocus suhjcet t see page 21.1, the green lamp blinks letting you know that you cannot take a picture. Focus aid illuminator In low light situations, and or hard-to-autofocus subjects, the red light is automatically projected to assist the autofoeus system when the shutter release button is depressed halfway down. 16
