Troubleshooting 295 In rare cases, the camera may not operate correctly due to static electricity. This can be remedied by taking the batteries out and putting them back in again. When the mirror remains in the up position, take the batteries out and put them back in again. Then, turn the power on. The mirror will retract. After these procedures are done, if the camera operates correctly, it does not require any repairs. We recommend checking the following items before contacting a service center. Problem Cause Remedy Batteries are not installed Check if batteries are installed. If not, install charged batteries. The camera does not turn on Batteries are not installed properly Check the orientation of batteries. Re-insert batteries according to the +- symbols.
