Triangular
tears,
small
rips
or
thin
spots
are
best
darned
by
making
close
stitches
back
and
forth
over
the
area
to
be
darned.
To
do
this,
attach
the
sew
ing
foot
and
set
the
needle
plate
in
the
normal
position.
While
darning,
guide
the
material
with
your
left
hand
and
operate
the
reverse
feed
control
in
rhythm
with
your
right
hand.
