(v) H / 2 Adapting freely programmed patterns with the balance key Depending on the fabric type, a pattern may finish distorted. With balance keys 5 of the sewing machine, the pattern can be corrected. • If the pattern is not closed (Fig. 1) it must be corrected with balance keys 5, be tween + 1 and + 7. • If the pattern is crossed over (Fig. 2) it must be corrected with balance keys 5, be tween - 1 and -7. Carry out a sewing test on a piece of waste material.
