Properly stabilizing your fabric will help decorative eliminate distortion of your decorative stitches. The following recommendations apply to all decorative sewing: The stitch length and width can be altered as desired. Lower the upper thread tension to between 2-3. Adjust as needed so bobbin thread does not pull project. Your embroidery results will be to the much top side of your prettier if your tension is properly adjusted. Presser foot No. 1 (for dual feed) and No. 2 (without dual feed) are most suitable for decorative work. We recommend presser foot. No. 2 for heavier fabrics.
