Preparations Settings In the settings menu, you can adjust the machine settings and screen settings. All settings are stored even when the machine is turned off. Settings menu Touch the settings button (A) to open. The settings menu is divided into two tabs. Select a tab (1 or 2) by touching it. A Twin needle Touch the twin needle icon to activate. Touch "-" and "+" to set the twin needle width. The selected width is shown in the twin needle icon. When a twin needle size is selected, the width of all stitches is limited for that needle size to prevent needle breakage. A warning pop-up will be shown if you select a stitch that is too wide for the set twin needle size. Note: Some stitches, due to design and functionality, cannot be sewn with a twin needle. Overlock stitches, buttonholes and darning stitches are examples of stitches that are not suitable for twin needle sewing. A warning sound will be heard when trying to activate twin needle when such a stitch is selected. When activated, the twin needle icon will be shown in sewing mode. The setting is kept until you deactivate it. Note: Twin needle and stitch width safety cannot be used at the same time. A warning sound will be heard when trying to activate both settings. Stitch width safety Select this function when using a straight stitch needle plate or a straight stitch presser foot to lock the center needle position for all stitches to prevent damage to the needle, presser foot or stitch plate. Touch the stitch width safety icon to activate. When activated, the stitch width safety icon will be shown in sewing mode. The setting is kept until you deactivate it. Note: When turning on the machine with this setting activated, a pop-up informs you that the machine is set for straight stitch. All stitches are limited to 0 mm stitch width. Twin needle and stitch width safety cannot be used at the same time. A warning sound will be heard when trying to activate both settings. Preparations
Settings
In the settings menu, you can adjust the machine settings
and screen settings. All settings are stored even when the
machine is turned off.

Touch the settings button (A) to open. The settings menu is

Twin needle
Touch the twin needle icon to activate. Touch “-” and “+”
to set the twin needle width. The selected width is shown in
the twin needle icon.
