INSTALLATION 5 STARTING THE MACHINE Make sure the power button is not pressed and the machine is turned off. 1 2 3 Open the coffee bean hopper by pressing the button on the lid. Fill the bean hopper with coffee beans. 4 Close the lid pushing it down completely. 5 Remove the water tank. We recommend installing the water filter (see page 7). 6 Fill the tank with fresh drinking water. Do not exceed the "max" level indicated on the water tank. Once filled place the tank back into the machine. Insert the plug into the socket located on the back of the machine and insert the other end into a power outlet with suitable current. Place a container beneath the hot water spout. 7 Press the power button to the "On" position. BEFORE PERFORMING ANY OPERATION, COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION (PAGES 6 - 7). TO ADJUST THE WATER HARDNESS LEVEL AND SET THE INTENZA AROMA SYSTEM SEE THE «WATER HARDNESS MENU» ON PAGE 22. BEFORE A LONG PERIOD OF INACTIVITY, AND BEFORE THE MACHINE IS RESTARTED, PLEASE CHECK THE RELEVANT INFORMATION IN THE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE SECTION.

Insert the plug into the socket
located on the back of the
machine and insert the other end
into a power outlet with suitable
current.
Place a container beneath the hot
water spout.
Open the coffee bean hopper by
pressing the button on the lid. Fill
the bean hopper with coffee
beans.
Close the lid pushing it down
completely.
Remove the water tank.
We recommend installing the
water filter (see page 7).
Press the power button to the
“On” position.
Make sure the power button is not pressed and the machine is turned off.
Fill the tank with fresh drinking
water. Do not exceed the “max”
level indicated on the water tank.
Once filled place the tank back
into the machine.
