HOW TO SET THE ACTIVE CONTROL The Active Control monitors and adjusts incoming video signals to help provide the best picture quality. When you choose to turn the Active Control ON, the picture sharpness and noise reduction are controlled automatically. Active Control adjusts these picture settings continuously and automatically. You have a choice of 5 modes: Choose from ACTIVE CONTROL AUTO, ACTIVE CONTROL MIN, ACTIVE CONTROL MED, ACTIVE CONTROL MAX, ACTIVE CONTROL OFF or ACTIVE CONTROL DEMO. 1 Press the ACTIVE CONTROL button on the remote control to toggle among the five options and select your desired mode. 2 Press the STATUS/EXIT button to remove the menu from the screen. HELPFUL HINT Toggle the ACTIVE CONTROL to ACTIVE CONTROL DEMO with the remote control and a screen display will appear showing picture quality differences between the Active Control when ON at the right had side of the screen and Active Control OFF at the left hand side of the screen.
