Sounds You can set your phone to operate with different sound profiles. For details, see "Profiles" on page 65. Options Description Alert type You can select Ring only, Vibrate only, Vibrate then ring or None. Ringtones Select the ringtone for Calls, Alarm, Calendar, Messages, and Cell info. Ring volume Select from 10 volume levels. Key sound Turn key sound On or Off. Shutter sound Select from one of the shutter sounds. Lowbattery Turn warning On or Off. If you have downloaded your own ring tones and have selected such a ring tone to be the alarm alert, then after you set the alarm and switched off the phone, the alert tone will be changed back to the original factory settings. This does not apply if the ring tone you have chosen is one that comes as default with your phone. Connectivity Call Settings For more information, see "Call settings" on page 69. Message Settings For more information, see "Message Settings" on page 44. Network settings The network name will be displayed on the idle screen. If the phone is not able to identify the network name, it will display the country code and the network code of the unknown network. Select network It will vary according to the search mode you have selected. If you select Automatic the network will be searched automatically. If you select Manual, the search will commence only when you confirm to start searching. Search mode You can select Automatic or Manual. Settings 75
