Section 12 Initial Settings # When the rear output setting is REAR SP :S/W, you cannot change the subwoofer controller. 3 Push Multi-Control left or right to switch the subwoofer output or nonfading output (full-range RCA output). Each pushing Multi-Control left or right will switch between PREOUT :S/W and PREOUT :FULL and that status will be displayed. Notes ! Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you turn the nonfading output (refer to Using nonfading output on page 51) or subwoofer output (refer to Using subwoofer output on page 51) in the audio menu on. ! If you change the subwoofer controller, subwoofer output and nonfading output in the audio menu return to the factory settings. ! Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear output are switched simultaneously in this setting. 2 Press Multi-Control to switch the telephone muting/attenuation. Pressing Multi-Control will switch between Telephone :ATT (attenuation) and Telephone :MUTE (muting) and that status will be displayed. Switching the motion screen You can turn the moving source icon display on or off. When off is selected, the moving source icon disappears after opening screen is displayed. 1 Use Multi-Control to select Motion. Motion appears in the display. 2 Press Multi-Control to turn the motion screen on. Motion :ON appears in the display. # To turn the motion screen off, press Multi-Control again. Switching the telephone muting/attenuation Sound from this system is muted or attenuated automatically when a call is made or received using a cellular telephone connected to this unit. ! The sound is turned off, MUTE or ATT is displayed and no audio adjustment is possible. ! Operation returns to normal when the phone connection is ended. 1 Use Multi-Control to select Telephone. Telephone appears in the display. Switching the Ever Scroll When Ever Scroll is set to ON, CD text information scrolls continuously in the display. Set to OFF if you prefer the information to scroll just once. 1 Use Multi-Control to select EVER-SCROLL. EVER-SCROLL appears in the display. 2 Press Multi-Control to turn the Ever Scroll on. Switching the telephone
muting/attenuation
Sound from this system is muted or attenu-
ated automatically when a call is made or re-
ceived using a cellular telephone connected to
this unit.

The sound is turned off,
MUTE
or
ATT
is
displayed and no audio adjustment is pos-
sible.
!
Operation returns to normal when the
phone connection is ended.

Use Multi-Control to select Telephone.
Telephone
appears in the display.

Press Multi-Control to switch the tele-
phone muting/attenuation.
Pressing
Multi-Control
will switch between
Telephone :ATT
(attenuation) and
Telephone :MUTE
(muting) and that status
will be displayed.
Switching the motion screen
You can turn the moving source icon display
on or off. When off is selected, the moving
source icon disappears after opening screen
is displayed.

Motion

Switching the Ever Scroll
When Ever Scroll is set to ON, CD text infor-
mation scrolls continuously in the display. Set
to OFF if you prefer the information to scroll
just once.
