Changing Initial Settings Setting the Subtitle (SUBTITLE LANG.) You can set a desired subtitle language. If the selected subtitle language is recorded on the DVD, subtitles are displayed in that language. You can also switch subtitle and assist subtitle display ON/OFF. A subtitle language menu is displayed. 3 Move the joystick to select Subtitle ON/OFF (LANGUAGE) or Assist Subtitle ON/OFF (ASSIST). 4 Click the joystick. Each time you click the joystick the selected setting switches ON/OFF. 7 Assist Subtitles Assist subtitles offer explanations for the aurally impaired. Setting the Subtitle (SUBTITLE LANG.)
You can set a desired subtitle language. If the selected subtitle language is recorded on the
DVD, subtitles are displayed in that language. You can also switch subtitle and assist subtitle
display ON/OFF.

You can switch Subtitle and Assist Subtitle ON/OFF as desired.
Move the joystick up/down to select
the “SUBTITLE LANG.”.

A subtitle language menu is displayed.

Assist Subtitles
