06 Advanced Setup Menu (Settings for Commercial Use) Advanced Setup Menu (Settings for Commercial Use) In addition to the normal SETUP menu, DVD-V8000 includes an ADV. To access the ADV. SETUP menu Press and hold the SETUP button (on remote control unit or main unit) depressed for one second. The screen displays the Advanced Setup (ADV. SETUP) menu as shown in the illustration. When the cursor is placed on [COMMAND STACK] and the ENTER button pressed, Command Stack entry menu appears. For [WEEKLY TIMER], [POWER ON START], and [KEY LOCK], use the cursor buttons (|, \) to alternate between [ON/OFF]; when [ON] is selected and the ENTER button is pressed, the next menu will allow detailed settings. For [EXTEND TERMINAL], use the cursor buttons (|, \) to select [Standard/User]. When [User] is selected, pressing the ENTER button will allow settings to be entered at the next menu. For other items, use the up/down cursor buttons (», «) on this menu page to select the item, then use the left/right cursor buttons (|, \) to select the [ON/OFF] or other value. Note ¶ ADV. SETUP menu items can be set using the mouse as well as the remote control unit. Place the mouse cursor over the item you wish to set and click the left mouse button to select the item. Clicking on the page number at the upper right of the display screen will change the page being displayed. When an item is selected, clicking the left or right mouse button will allow the item's value to be changed. ¶ When the [WEEKLY TIMER], [POWER ON START], or [KEY LOCK] menu items are set to [ON], and the left mouse button is clicked, a menu will appear allowing detailed values for each item to be changed. ¶ On the [EXTEND TERMINAL] menu, when [User] is selected and the left mouse button is clicked, a menu will appear allowing detailed values to be changed.
