Plantronics Ltd - Released M3000 Pairing Instructions - Sony Ericsson P800 Mobile Phone Before pairing the Plantronics M3000 with the Sony Ericsson P800, please ensure both devices are fully charged according to the instructions in the respective User Guides. 1. Turn the Sony Ericsson P800 phone and the Plantronics M3000 headset ON. 2. On the P800, open the flip and using the Jog Dial (rotate and press) and stylus: i. Scroll to "Control Panel" and press the jog dial. ii. Select "Connections" using the stylus iii. Scroll down to "Bluetooth" and press the jog dial iv. Select "Settings" using the stylus v. Using the stylus, change the "Operation Mode" to "On" vi. Using the stylus, select "Done" Bluetooth is now be switched on in the phone. Note: If Bluetooth has already been activated, press "Done" anyway. 3. On the Plantronics M3000: i. Put the M3000 into pairing mode by press the "Volume Up" & "Call Control" buttons simultaneously until the Indicator light begins to flash alternate green and red. (see M3000 User Instructions). 4. On the Sony Ericsson P800: i. Scroll down to "Bluetooth" and press the jog dial. ii. Using the stylus, select "Devices" iii. Using the stylus, select "Add" iv. The phone will display "Searching". v. After a few moments the phone will display all the Bluetooth devices within range. Using the stylus, select the "M3000 by Plantronics". vi. The phone will display "Bonding in Progress" vii. The phone will request the "Passkey:". Enter 0000 using the keypad then press the jog dial. The phone will display "Bonding in Progress" followed by "Bonding Successful". viii. Using the stylus, select "Done" Your M3000 headset is now paired with the P800 phone. P800 M3000 pair rev001 1 3rd July 2003
