Interface Settings The default setting is Auto Select. SMB Computer Name Specify the SMB computer name. Enter the computer name using up to 15 characters. and spaces cannot be entered. Do not set a computer name starting with RNP and rnp. 2 Use uppercase letters for alphabets. SMB Work Group Specify the SMB work group. Enter the computer name using up to 15 characters. and spaces cannot be entered. Use uppercase letters for alphabet. Ethernet Speed Set the access speed for networks. The default setting is Auto Select. Select a speed that matches your network environment. [Auto Select] should usually be selected. 10Mbps Half 10Mbps Full 100Mbps Duplex Duplex Half Duplex 10Mbps Half Duplex 10Mbps Full Duplex 100Mbps Half Duplex 100Mbps Full Duplex Auto Select 100Mbps Full Duplex Auto Select LAN Type When you have installed the IEEE 802.11a/g interface unit, select the method of connection. The default setting is Ethernet. [LAN Type] is displayed when wireless LAN board is installed. If Ethernet and IEEE 802.11a/g (wireless LAN) are both connected, the selected interface has priority. 71
