Use standard 0.45 in. diameter glue sticks in this glue gun. The LED indicator will light up when a charged battery pack is installed and the switch is turned to the on (I) position. Make sure the on/off switch is in the off (O) position. Insert a glue stick through the opening at the back of the glue gun. Guide the glue stick into the glue chamber until it will go no further. Place a piece of paper underneath the glue gun to catch any drips while the glue gun is heating. Install the battery pack. Set the glue gun upright on the paper and turn the on/off switch to the on (I) position. NOTE: Different types of glue sticks will heat to working temperature at different rates. Always test on a scrap piece to make sure the glue is at optimum temperature.
