Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the product better and safer. BLADE COVER The blade cover keeps the operator from coming in contact with the sharp blades when the tool is not in use. It also helps keep the blades from being nicked or damaged when the tool is in storage. HEDGE SWEEP DEBRIS REMOVER When installed, the Hedge Sweep debris remover makes removal of cut debris easier. GUARD The guard helps to deflect chips or other debris away from the operator's hands. LOCK-OUT BUTTON The lock-out button prevents unintentional starting of the hedge trimmer. BLADE COVER
