ASSEMBLY INSTALLING INTERMEDIATE HANDLE See Figure 3.  Slide the cord retainer over the lower handle and position in the center top portion of the handle.  Align the holes on the intermediate handle with the holes in the lower handle as shown.  Insert J-bolt through both handles with the threaded end at the top and facing inside.  Install the handle knob and tighten securely to secure the bolt in place.  Repeat on the opposite side to secure the intermediate handle in place. INSTALLING UPPER HANDLE See Figure 3.  Align the hole on the upper handle with the hole in the intermediate handle as shown. NOTICE: Do not allow the starter cable to become pinched or trapped when aligning the handles.  Insert bolt through both handles with the threaded end facing inside.  Install the handle knob and tighten to secure.  Repeat on the opposite side. INSTALLING CHUTE DEFLECTOR See Figure 4.  Spread the sides of the chute deflector slightly and position over the top of the chute.  Shift the position of the deflector as needed so the tabs and posts on the chute are fully seated into the openings on the deflector as shown. INSTALLING CHUTE ROTATION LEVER See Figure 5. NOTE: The lever bracket and opening on the back of the snow blower housing are keyed to match the end of the chute rotation lever bottom rod. Make sure to orient the rod in the same direction as the keyed holes when installing the lever.  Slide the end of the chute rotation lever bottom rod through the bracket on the intermediate handle.  Insert the rod into the hole in the snow blower housing until it is fully seated.  Install the upper rod of the chute rotation lever over the lower end of the lever. Align the holes in the two parts of the lever and insert the hitch pin through the holes as shown to secure.  Turn the lever left and right to verify the proper functioning of the lever and the chute. 8 - English

INSTALLING INTERMEDIATE HANDLE
See Figure 3.
Slide the cord retainer over the lower handle and position
in the center top portion of the handle.
Align the holes on the intermediate handle with the holes
in the lower handle as shown.
Insert J-bolt through both handles with the threaded end
at the top and facing inside.
Install the handle knob and tighten securely to secure the
bolt in place.
Repeat on the opposite side to secure the intermediate
handle in place.
INSTALLING UPPER HANDLE

INSTALLING CHUTE DEFLECTOR
See Figure 4.
Spread the sides of the chute deflector slightly and posi-
tion over the top of the chute.
Shift the position of the deflector as needed so the tabs
and posts on the chute are fully seated into the openings
on the deflector as shown.
INSTALLING CHUTE ROTATION LEVER
See Figure 5.
NOTE:
The lever bracket and opening on the back of the
snow blower housing are keyed to match the end of the chute
rotation lever bottom rod. Make sure to orient the rod in the
same direction as the keyed holes when installing the lever.
Slide the end of the chute rotation lever bottom rod
through the bracket on the intermediate handle.
Insert the rod into the hole in the snow blower housing
until it is fully seated.
Install the upper rod of the chute rotation lever over the
lower end of the lever. Align the holes in the two parts
of the lever and insert the hitch pin through the holes as
shown to secure.
Turn the lever left and right to verify the proper functioning
of the lever and the chute.
