Metering ■ If you cannot obtain suitable exposure conditions, you can change the metering method to take brighter pictures. - [Multi] - [Spot] - [Center] : Exposure will be calculated based on 6 an average of the available light in the image area. However, the calculation will be biased towards the centre of the image area. This is METERING suitable for general use. Multi : Only the rectangular area in the centre of the LCD monitor will be [ PROGRAM mode ] metered for light. This is suitable when the subject in the centre is exposed correctly, regardless of the back lighting. : Exposure will be calculated based on an average of the available light in the image area. However, the calculation will be biased towards the centre of the image area. This is suitable for taking a picture of small object like a flower or insects. ※ If the subject is not the centre of the focus area, do not use the spot metering as this may result in an exposure error. In this circumstance, it is better to use exposure compensation. Continuous shot ■ You can select continuous shot, and AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing). - [Single] : Take one picture only. 6 - [Continuous] : Images will be taken continuously until the shutter button is released. The shooting capacity depends on the memory (Max. 9 shots). DRIVE - [AEB] : Take three pictures in a series in Single different exposures: standard [ PROGRAM mode ] exposure (0.0EV), short exposure (-1/3EV) and over exposure (+1/3EV). - [Interval] : You can take images with interval and number of images set before. Up / Down button : Selecting the Interval menu or Number of image menu. Left / Right button : Changing the numbers (01 min-60 min / 02 pics-99 pics). * After taking the first image, the LCD monitor turns off. After taking the last image, the camera turns off. * Before using the Interval shot, charge the battery fully. If the battery is out during the shots, the last taken before the camera was turned off. INFORMATION ● High resolution and picture quality increases file saving time, which increases stand-by time. ● If the [Continuous] or [AEB] sub menu is selected, the flash will be off automatically. 《35》

Metering
If you cannot obtain suitable exposure conditions, you can change the metering
method to take brighter pictures.
- [Multi]
: Exposure will be calculated based on
an average of the available light in
the image area. However, the
calculation will be biased towards the
centre of the image area. This is
suitable for general use.
- [Spot]
: Only the rectangular area in the
centre of the LCD monitor will be
metered for light.
This is suitable when the subject in the centre is exposed
correctly, regardless of the back lighting.
- [Center]
: Exposure will be calculated based on an average of the available
light in the image area. However, the calculation will be biased
towards the centre of the image area. This is suitable for taking a
picture of small object like a flower or insects.
If the subject is not the centre of the focus area, do not use the spot metering
as this may result in an exposure error. In this circumstance, it is better to use
exposure compensation.

Continuous shot
- [Single]
: Take one picture only.
- [Continuous]
: Images will be taken continuously
until the shutter button is released.
The shooting capacity depends on
the memory (Max. 9 shots).
- [AEB]
: Take three pictures in a series in
different exposures: standard
exposure (0.0EV), short exposure
(-1/3EV) and over exposure (+1/3EV).
- [Interval]
: You can take images with interval and number of images
set before.
Up / Down button : Selecting the Interval menu or Number
of image menu.
Left / Right button : Changing the numbers
(01 min-60 min / 02 pics-99 pics).
* After taking the first image, the LCD monitor turns off.
After taking the last image, the camera turns off.
