To add a new preset message: 1. Select Menu > Messaging > Settings > General > Preset Messages. (The list of preset messages is displayed.) 2. To add a new message, select the desired empty message location, select Options (U RS ), select Add New and press . (This action activates the Phone Display). 3. Enter your message using the phone's keypad, and press MENU OK . (Your new message will be added to the beginning of the list.) (See "Entering Text" on page 63.) Tip: When entering text, press the * (Shift) key to change letter capitalization (Abc > ABC > abc) used on the current character. Text Message Settings Text Message settings allow you to configure the options associated with a text messages sent from your phone. These options include: ⅷ Save in Outbox - allows you to save a copy of a sent message in your outbox. ⅷ Priority - allows you to set a priority level of Normal or Urgent for text messages. ⅷ Call Back # - allows you to set the callback number for the recipient to view when receiving a text message. ⅷ Edit Signature - allows you to set up your signature which will append itself to the end of all text messages sent from your phone. 90 Section 2B: Controlling Your Phone's Settings
