4. Change in Settings You can change your security mode/user name/password/fingerprint security settings of the T7 Touch by clicking "SETTINGS" button on the main page. When using a computer without the security software, you can download installation file ("SamsungPortableSSD_Setup_Win_1.0.exe" for Windows OS, "SamsungPortableSSD_Setup_Mac_1.0.pkg" for Mac OS) from the Samsung website (https://www.samsung.com/samsungssd) and install it to change the settings. • Security Mode For making a change in security mode between ON and OFF, please click toggle button and enter correct password. Refer to the table below for a description of T7 Touch security status indicator. No icon Status Locked Unlocked Security mode OFF Description This signifies that security mode is on, but user has not unlocked T7 Touch. You can unlock T7 Touch on unlock page. This signifies that security mode is on and user has already unlocked T7 Touch. You can see the storage capacity on main page and change settings. This is when security is OFF.
