Starting the recording mode ƀ How to use the APERTURE PRIORITY mode ( ) This mode will set the aperture value for automatic exposure depends on the brightness of the object by automatic shutter speed setting in the camera. 1. Select the ASM mode by rotating the mode dial. 2. Select the APERTURE PRIORITY mode ( ) by using the smart button. 3. Set the desired aperture value by using the smart button. (p.39) 4. Point the camera towards the subject and compose the image by using the LCD monitor. 5. Press the shutter button to capture an image. ż Smaller Aperture values make the object sharp but blur the background.
