ENGLISH Using the CAMCORDER - Advanced Recording q WHT. BALANCE (WHITE BALANCE) - CAMCORDER Mode q ✤ The WHITE BALANCE function in CAMCORDER mode is a ✤ recording function that preserves the unique color of the object under any recording condition. ✤ You may select the appropriate WHITE BALANCE mode to obtain ✤ high quality color in the image. s s AUTO ( ) : This mode is generally used to CAMCORDER REC MODE s control the WHITE BALANCE automatically. s HOLD ( ) : This fixes the current WHITE INITIAL CAMCORDER RECORD SET s BALANCE value. s INDOOR ( ) : This controls the WHITE CAMERA MEMORY VIEWER PLAY SET s BALANCE according to indoor ambience. s OUTDOOR ( ) : This controls the WHITE BALANCE according to outdoor ambience. 1. Set the camcorder to CAMCORDER mode. 2. Press the MENU button. s The menu list will appear. 3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMCORDER and press the MENU DIAL. 4. Select WHT.BALANCE from the submenu. 5. Press the MENU DIAL to enter the sub-menu. 6. Using the MENU DIAL, select the WHITE BALANCE function you wish to use. s Press the MENU DIAL to confirm the WHITE BALANCE function you have selected. 7. To exit, press the MENU button. Notes s While setting NITE PIX to ON, the WHT.BALANCE function does not work. s The WHT.BALANCE function will not operate in EASY mode. s Turn the Digital Zoom off (if necessary) to set a more accurate White Balance. s If you have set the White Balance and the lighting conditions change, reset the White Balance. s For normal outdoor recording, setting the White Balance to AUTO may provide the best results.
