If an unauthorised Bluetooth device sends data to your phone, the phone displays a confirmation message. To receive data, press . Infrared (Menu 9.6.2) Use this feature to send and receive data through the infrared port. To use an infrared connection, you must do the following: • Configure and activate an IrDA-compliant infrared port on the other device. • Activate the infrared feature on your phone (the IrDA icon displays on the top line). • Align the IrDA port on the phone with the IrDA port on the other device. If there is no communication between your phone and the other IrDA-compliant device within 60 seconds of activating the feature, it is automatically deactivated. Security (Menu 9.7) Use this menu to protect the phone against unauthorised use by managing the several access codes of your phone and SIM card. If you enter an incorrect PIN /PIN 2 three times in succession, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock it you need to enter your PUK/PUK2 (Personal Unblocking Key). The codes are supplied by your network operator. PIN check (Menu 9.7.1) The 4-to 8-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) protects your SIM card against unauthorised use. When this feature is enabled, the phone requires your PIN each time it is switched on. Change PIN (Menu 9.7.2) Use this menu to change your PIN.
