Dialing a Number from the Phonebook • Edit Name: allows you to edit the name. • Delete entry: allows you to delete the name and number from Phonebook. You are asked to confirm that you wish to delete the name and number by pressing the Yes soft key. • Copy to phone: allows you to copy the number to your phone. 7. To return to the Idle screen, press the key. Dialing a Number from the Phonebook Once you have stored phone numbers in the Phonebook, you can dial them easily and quickly by using the location numbers that were assigned to them in the Phonebook. Note: If you cannot remember a location number, you must go into the Search menu in the Phonebook menu to search for the entry by name. For details, see "Finding a Phonebook Entry" on page 56. Dialing a Number from the SIM Card 1. In Idle mode, enter the location number for the phone number you want to dial and press the key. The location number in the SIM card appears, with the desired number displayed. 2. You can press the Up or Down key to find other numbers on the list. 3. Press the Dial soft key, the key, or the key when you have selected the number you want. Speed Dialing Once you have stored phone numbers from your Phonebook list, you can set up to 8 speed dial entries and Section 6: Understanding Your Phonebook 59 Section 6
