Making Calls Placing a call from your wireless phone is as easy as making a call from any landline phone. Just enter the number on the keypad and press TALK , and you're on your way to clear calls. To make a call using your keypad: 1. Make sure your phone is on. 2. Enter a phone number from standby mode. (If you make a mistake while dialing, press BACK to erase one digit at a time. Press and hold BACK to erase the entire number.) 3. Press TALK . (To make a call when you are roaming and Call Guard is enabled, press 1 and then TALK . See "Using Call Guard" on page 107.) 4. Press END or close the phone when you are finished with your call. Tip: To redial your previous call, press TALK twice. You can also place calls from your phone by using the Contacts menu (page 117), Sprint Voice Command (page 231), speed dialing numbers from your Contacts (page 50), using Voice Activated Dialing (page 144), and using your Call History listings (page 112). 38 Section 2A: Phone Basics
