OFF: Do not use the self timer function. 5sec: Recording starts 5 seconds after you press the REC button. 10sec: Recording starts 10 seconds after you press the REC button. 30sec: Recording starts 30 seconds after you press the REC button. 5 Press the MENU/PLAY LIST button to exit the menu. The basic screen returns. 6 Press the REC button. The self timer standby screen appears and countdown for the specified time begins.
