Remote control unit Misc. Problem The remote control unit does not seem to work. The "No card" message appears. The "Image is protected" message appears and the file cannot be deleted. Cause The remote control unit is too far from the camera's remote control sensor. The remote control codes for the remote control unit and camera's remote control sensor are different. No card is inserted. You have attempted to delete a file that is protected from accidental erasure. Action Operate the remote control unit from a position up to 7 meters (22.97 ft.) away. Change the remote control code. Turn off the power and insert a card. Set the protect setting for the file to UNLOCK. Reference page 27, 28 29 25 55, 104 APPENDICES English 170
