HOW TO USE (FOR CAL. 9F61, 4J51) How to set the time ① Pull out the crown when the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position as shown in the illustration. The second hand stops on the spot. First click position ② Turn the crown to set the hands to the desired time. Due to the mechanism of the quartz watch, to set the time accurately, first turn the minute hand 4 to 5 minutes ahead of the desired time and then return it to the correct time. ③ Push the crown back into the normal position in accordance with a time signal. The second hand keeps moving. ② Turn the crown until the previous day's date appears. Turn the crown to advance the hands until the desired date and day appear. When setting the hour hand, be sure to check that a.m./p.m. is correctly set. The watch is designed so that the date changes once in 24 hours. When setting the minute hand, first advance it 4 to 5 minutes ahead of the desired time and then turn it back to the exact minute. ⑤ Push the crown back into the normal position in accordance with a time signal.
