Or: ▷ Activate the mDNS function in the receiver's Network Settings menu (factory setting: deactivated). ▷ Restart the receiver. Once restarted, the receiver is automatically detected in the Sennheiser Control Cockpit. mDNS = multicast Domain Name System: resolves host names to IP addresses within small networks that do not include a local name server. Used for automatic device discovery. Integrating the receiver into a network without DHCP using Fixed IP If there is no DHCP server in the network and you are working with fixed IP addresses, please observe the following information. ▷ Set the Mode to Fixed in the receiver's Network Settings menu. ▷ Manually enter an IP address in the IP option in the receiv- er's Network Settings menu. To add the receiver in the Sennheiser Control Cockpit: ▷ Use the Add Device function in the Sennheiser Control Cockpit and enter the IP address you selected. Or: ▷ Activate the mDNS function in the receiver's Network Settings menu (factory setting: deactivated). ▷ Restart the receiver.
