If the New Hardware Found box appears when you turn on your computer, click the Cancel button to exit the dialog box. ♦ If you have other multifunction device software installed in your computer, uninstall that software before installing the Sharp Laser Multifunction software. Otherwise, the Sharp Laser Multifunction software may not function correctly. 1. Insert the Sharp Laser Multifunction CD into your computer's CDROM drive. 2. If the Sharp Laser Multifunction Setup window appears, click Next in the window and go to step 4. If the window doesn't appear, click the Start button on the Windows taskbar and select the Run... command. 3. Type e:\setup in the Open text box, where e is the letter of your CDROM drive, and then click OK. 4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. 5. When installation is completed, restart your computer. 26

The Sharp Laser Multifunction software cannot be installed by Plug
and Play. If the
New Hardware Found
box appears when you turn
on your computer, click the
Cancel
button to exit the dialog box.

If you have other multifunction device software installed in your
computer, uninstall that software before installing the Sharp Laser
Multifunction software. Otherwise, the Sharp Laser Multifunction
software may not function correctly.

Sharp Laser Multifunction Setup
