BEFORE OPERATING Be%re operating yore new Microwave Drawer make sure you read and understand this operation manual completely. • Before the Microwave Drawer can be used, follow these steps: t Plug in the Microwave Drawer. _l appear. _:3UE II I ,,ill 2 Touch the Stop/Clear pad. _ will appear. 3 Set clock. TO SET THE CLOCK t Touch Timer/Clock pad and number [_. 2 Touch number pads for correct time of day and touch Thner/Clock pad again. This is a 12 hour clock. If you attempt to enter an incorrect clock time, _ will appear in the display. Touch the Stop/Clear pad and re-enter the time. * If the electrical power supply to your Microwave Drawer should be interrupted, the display will intermittently show _ _ after the pox_er is reinstated. If this occurs during cooking, the program will be erased. The time of day will also be erased. Simply touch Stop/Clear pad and reset the clock for the correct time of day. Note: * The Microwave Drawer can be programmed with the drawer open except for START/Minute Plus. TIMER "1Touch Timer/Clock pad and number [_. 2 Enter time. 3 l_uch Timer/Clock pad again. To cancel timer, touch Stop/Clear. STOP/CLEAR ]_uch the Stop/Clear pad to: t Erase if you make a mistake during programming. 2 Cancel timer. 3 Stop the Microwave Drawer temporarily during timed cooking. 4 Return the time of day to the display. 5 Cancel a program during cooking, touch tx_ice for timed cooking. OPEN OR CLOSE MICROWAVE (For models KB-6025N & KB-6024N) DRAWER To open the Microwave Drawer, pull the drawer handle a little so that the drawer will open automatically. To close the Microwave Drawer, push the drawer with light pressure so that the drawer will close automatically. In case the Microwave Drawer is stopped in the middle, open or close the drawer manually to full open or close position by gently pulling or pushing with even pressure near the middle of the drawer handle. If you wish to use key operation to open/close the Microwave Drawer, activate the open/close setting (see page 17). To open the Microwave Drawer, touch Control Lock pad and touch Keep Warm pad within 3 seconds. ]_ close the Microwave Drawer, touch Control Lock pad and touch Defrost pad within 3 seconds. (For model KB-6OO2L) Open and close the Microwave Drawer by gently pulling and pushing with even pressure near the middle of the drawer handle. Note: * When opening the Microwave Drawer, be sure not to press the display. 10
