SPECIAL FEATURES REHEAT REHEAT automatically computes the correct heating time and microwave power level for foods shown in the chart below. • Suppose you want to reheat 3 cups of soup. PROCEDURE 3 2 3 CUPS Repeat touching same number pad 2 to increase quantity to 3 cups. (Ex: touch two more times for 3 cups or hold down until the desired quantity appears.) 1 REHEAT Touch REHEAT once. 2 2 Select desired REHEAT setting. (Ex: touch number pad 2 to select 1 cup of soup. FOOD 2 1 CUPS 4 START Touch START/MINUTE MINUTE PLUS PLUS pad. NOTE: 1. To increase quantity, touch same number pad for chosen food until number in display is same as desired quantity. Ex: To increase the quantity for pizza, touch 3 repeatedly. 2. To reheat different foods or foods above or below the quantity allowed on the REHEAT CHART, use manual operation. 3. REHEAT can be programmed with More or Less Time Adjustment. See page 16. REHEAT CHART FOOD AMOUNT PROCEDURE 1. Pasta Sauce 1-6 cups Use this setting to reheat refrigerated, canned or homemade pasta with sauce or other cooked casserole. For room temperature pasta or casserole, use Less option (see page 16). For pasta without sauce double the quantity per setting. For example, measure 2 cups of cooked noodles and program for 1 cup. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. After cooking, let stand, covered, 2 to 3 minutes. 2. Soup 3. Pizza 1-6 cups 1-6 slices Place in bowl or casserole. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. At end, stir, re-cover and let stand 1 to 3 minutes. Use this setting to reheat refrigerated leftover pizza. One slice is approximately 1/8th of a 12 inch pizza or 1/12th of a 16 inch pizza. Place on paper towel. 4. Dinner Plate 1 plate 1 Regular 1 Large 1 Small Use this setting to reheat precooked foods from the refrigerator. Place meaty portions and bulky vegetables to outside of plate. Cut large items like baked potatoes in smaller pieces. Flatten foods such as mashed potatoes and other dense foods. Cover with wax paper or plastic wrap. ONE PLATE ONLY. Touch REHEAT, the number 4 once and then START/MINUTE PLUS pad for a regular amount of food: approximately 4 oz sliced meat or poultry, 1/2 cup potato or rice and 1/2 cup of vegetables or equivalent. REG will appear in the display. Touch REHEAT, the number 4 twice and then START/MINUTE PLUS pad for a larger amount of food on a dinner plate. LARGE will appear in the display. Touch REHEAT,the number 4 three times and then START/MINUTE PLUS pad for a smaller amount of food on a dinner plate. SMALL will appear in the display. 5. Beverage .5-2.0 cups This setting is good for restoring cooled beverages to a better drinking temperature. Touch number 5 pad for a 0.5 cup increase per touch. Stir after heating. Stir liquid briskly before and after heating to avoid "eruption." 12
